The Devon Golf & C.C. has undergone a substantial renovation program to improve our Banquet, Seminar, Conference and Tournament facilities.
The new facility features a separate entrance, direct from the parking lot, large windows providing natural light and a spacious corridor for receptions and easy movement.
The largest room can accommodate tournaments, wedding receptions, anniversary dinners, corporate functions and community dances up to 165 persons.

This area is also divisible by two sets of sound-proof folding walls that can provide

privacy and intimacy for smaller group functions, seminars and conferences.

The renovation features state of the art heating and air-conditioning systems for each area,

controlled lighting for every environment, and in-house audio and music systems.

A new preparation and service kitchen has been added to ensure the continued use of the

very best quality and freshness in our banquet presentations.

In our quest to maintain privacy for our function and banqueting business, we have included private washroom facilities along with a coat room and a separate entrance from the Clubhouse.
The new facility is completely handicap accessible and provides Devon and the surrounding area with a first class meeting, seminar and banqueting facility.

Our catering staff can provide you with a variety of meal packages and our large banquet/ meeting room facility can accommodate groups up to 165 people. Our menu package includes recommendations, but we would be happy to quote on any changes or special menu requests that you may prefer.
Our fully licensed facility can be operated on your choice of either a cash basis or a host bar.

 

 
Our pro shop provides a full line of services, equipment and rentals that your group may require. Our CPGA professional golf staff is very knowledgeable in all matters concerning different tournaments formats.
They would be very happy to answer any questions you may have about organizing your function. They can provide you the score sheets, proximity markers and prize package information.

Information about our Tournament \ Function packages.

The Devon Golf & C.C. is one of the most popular sites for company or group

Functions in the Edmonton area.  Our mature golf course is situated in one

 of the most scenic settings to be found in central Alberta.

Our catering staff can provide you with a variety of meal packages and our large banquet/ meeting room facility can accommodate groups up to 165 people.

Our Golf Pro, along with our professional staff, are very knowledgeable in all matters

Concerning different Tournament formats. They would be very happy to answer any

questions you may have about organizing your Tournament.

markers, and prize package information.

We feel that our Club will offer you the Best Value and Service for your Tournament/ Function.

Tournament Information

GUIDELINES

Groups must be a minimum size of 32 players to be eligible to book a golf function.  Our Club would like to see all groups utilize our complete facility,

 preference will be given to those groups that include a banquet meal and prize package with their function.

CONFIRMED NUMBERS

Groups are booked based on an estimated number of participants.  Groups will be expected to provide a guaranteed number of players and meals

72 hours prior to the date of the tournament. 

Group's sizes may increase after this date, only if space is available

TEE TIMES

The Club will allocate all necessary times for the group to Tee-Off at a satisfactory pace.  To facilitate

a smooth flow of play the club will provide starters to call and Tee-Off groups, 28 golfers per hour.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

All groups will be required to submit a $ 300.00 ($500.00 for groups of 120 or more) deposit along with their Tournament Contract.

 FINAL PAYMENT FOR GROUPS WILL BE

PRIOR TO THE FIRST TEE TIME or AT THE COMPLETION OF FUNCTION.

The Tournament will not be considered booked until the deposit and contracts are received by the

Devon Golf Club.

CLUB RULES

All members of your group will be responsible to comply with our Club Rules and speed of play policies while they are at the Club.  Footwear is required, golf shoes preferred, running shoes are the only option. Clean and neat clothing will be the minimum requirement, no frayed or cut off clothing will be allowed.

Ladies – Shorts & Skirts minimum length mid thigh, no gym shorts – Shirts – No halter tops, tube tops or muscle shirts, Minimum 2” Strap over Shoulder. Men – Shorts minimum length mid thigh, no gym shorts, Shirts – T Shirts are the minimum requirement all shirts must have sleeves, no muscle or half shirts.

REFRESHMENTS ON COURSE

Refreshments are available for the golfers from our concession.  Arrangements can be made in advance to purchase items for your group from this operation.  All food and beverage must be purchased from the Devon Golf Club, any persons bringing their own alcohol onto the course without management permission will be asked to leave.

POWER CART RESERVATIONS

The Club has a limited number of power carts available for group reservations. 

Our Club can make additional carts available to groups upon requests. 

If you wish to provide power carts as part of your Tournament package, please

contact us as early as possible so that we can provide you with a fleet price.

PRACTICE FACILITY

We have a driving cage with ten stalls for warm up and practice, as well as,

two putting greens and sand bunkers for your use.  We would be please

 to offer group rates for usage of the practice facilities.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Room rentals include all Setup and Removal of Tables, Chairs, Table Linens, Table Skirting, China, Glassware and Silverware. 

Rooms are rented in maximum eight hour blocks i.e.: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM.

The Club has 7 Day cancellation policy, cancellations within 7-Day

will be charged the maximum room rental. No-shows will be charged the maximum room rental and 50% of the estimated food charges, whichever greater.

All food and Beverage must be provided by Devon Golf & CC.

All food and beverage is subject to a service charge of 15% and  GST.

A guaranteed number of attendees must be relayed to the Club 48 hours

prior to the function.  If a guaranteed number has hot been received within

this time, billing will be based on the number originally booked or the

number actually served, whichever is greater.  Function details and menu selections should be

forwarded at least two weeks prior to the function.

When selecting menu choices, all food items must be identical for each

person attending.   Special dietary substitutes are available, but must be

requested in advance ( in limited quantities, please identify those guests

who require special dishes prior to the function’s commencement).

Audio/Visual equipment consists of Flip Carts, Overhead Projector, Screen and P.A. System.  Additional Audio/Visual equipment, music services,

entertainment, decorations, flowers, etc. can be arranged and billed through the Club.

Meeting rooms can be setup for groups from 10 to 185 in a Boardroom, Classroom, Hollow Square, U-shape or Round Table configurations.

A room deposit may be required to secure a booking.  Placement of signage is restricted to private rooms areas.  No pins, tape or adhesives of any kind are permitted on any Club walls or doors.

The Club is a semi-private facility. Members may list The Club as a venue but usage of The Devon Golf & C.C. name or logo as part of promotional advertising is not permitted.

The Club reserves the right to refuse space and service to any one person or group.

Members and guests are subject to the by-laws and House Rules governing The Club.
